Trust & Transparency
Editorial Policy & Verification Standards
EVTradeShow.com's commitment to accurate, independent, and verifiable event intelligence for the global electric vehicle industry.
1. Introduction
At EVTradeShow.com, we recognize that professionals in the electric vehicle, battery, and advanced mobility sectors rely on accurate scheduling to plan travel, allocate budgets, and strategize product launches. Our editorial policy ensures that every event listed on our platform meets strict standards for verifiability, relevance, and transparency.
2. Event Selection Criteria
Not every event qualifies for a listing on EVTradeShow.com. Our directory focuses strictly on professional B2B events.
- Scope: Events must directly serve the EV ecosystem, including battery technology, charging infrastructure, manufacturing, fleet electrification, and autonomous mobility.
- Establishment: The event must be hosted by a verifiable organizer, industry association, or established media entity.
- Exclusions: We do not list unverified virtual-only webinars lacking confirmed speakers, events with known fraudulent histories, or consumer-only local car meets without a professional industry component.
3. Verification Process
Our intelligence gathering involves a rigorous verification process. An event earns the ✓ VERIFIED badge only when it passes our 4-point checklist:
- Official Source Confirmation: Dates and details are published on the organizer's primary website.
- Venue Booking: The host venue lists the event on its official calendar or confirms the booking.
- Organizer Registration: The organizing entity is a registered business or recognized non-profit organization.
- Published Agenda: A credible framework for the event (speakers, floor plan, or agenda) is available to the public.
Events that have been announced but have not yet satisfied all four criteria are marked as Verification Pending.
4. Update Frequency & Maintenance
The global event landscape is dynamic. To maintain data integrity:
- We conduct weekly verification audits on upcoming events.
- Date changes, venue moves, postponements, and cancellations are prioritized and updated as soon as verified information is available.
- Past events are archived for historical reference but clearly marked to prevent confusion.
5. Commercial Disclosures & Advertising
EVTradeShow.com sustains its operations through advertising and featured placements. However, commercial relationships never compromise our editorial integrity.
- Editorial Independence: A basic event listing cannot be purchased. It must be earned through relevance and verification.
- Featured Listings: Organizers may purchase FEATURED visibility to highlight their event. This status is purely a promotional placement and does NOT constitute an editorial endorsement or alter the verification requirements.
- Data Integrity: No payment can alter verification status, dates, or factual data associated with any listing.
- AdSense & Third-Party Ads: We display automated advertisements provided by Google AdSense and other networks. These are clearly distinguishable from our editorial content.
6. Independence & Ownership
EVTradeShow.com is an independent intelligence platform. We are not owned by, operated by, or exclusively partnered with any single event organizer, ensuring our directory remains an unbiased resource for the entire industry.
7. Corrections & Accountability
Despite our rigorous processes, errors can occur. We are committed to prompt correction of factual inaccuracies.
If you represent an event or have identified incorrect information (such as a date change or cancellation), please report it immediately. Our editorial team aims to resolve verified factual errors within 48 hours of reporting.
